Spiritual Life - Third Grade

Throughout your child’s education at OLMC School, they will have many opportunities to participate in spiritual and community service activities. Each grade offers unique opportunities to help children develop their faith by building on earlier teachings.

Spiritual and Community Service Activities

• Sacrament preparation
• Daily student-led prayer, including: Prayer to St. Michael, Hail! Holy Queen, and the Apostles’ Creed
• Prayer Partner Program
• Bible reading and stories
• Create Gift of the Holy Spirit Mobile
• Create Chalices for the First Holy Communion
• Oral and written report on a specific Saint
• Create holiday posters for the Andre House
• Participate in the Trek through the Desert
• Participate in lighting the Advent Wreath
• Stations of the Cross
• Cards for veterans
