Athletics
Our Lady of Mount Carmel students participate in the local Catholic Youth Athletic Association (CYAA) program. As part of the program, our students learn the value of teamwork, good sportsmanship, and fair play while developing athletic skills.
All eligible students in grades 5th – 8th are given the opportunity to participate. As there are no tryouts or cuts, all interested students get the opportunity to play on a school team and learn the fundamentals of the sport. Teams are coached by parent volunteers who lead after-school practices and schedule games with other schools that participate in the CYAA program.
The following sports are offered to all students, regardless of skill level. Please contact the OLMC Athletic Director, Mr. Deremiah, at jonathanderemiah@olmcschool.info for further information.
