Dear OLMC Families,
I hope you had a beautiful Thanksgiving. I am sure this was different from past years, but even with everything going on, there are still so many things to be thankful for!!
As we move into the Advent Season the 7th graders usually lead us in prayer and light the Advent Wreath before school. We will not do this as a community in the prayer Garden but we will still be praying together in our classrooms. The 7th graders have recorded these prayers and we will share them with you on our YouTube page and social media for you to enjoy every morning. These videos will be streamed into the classrooms as well.
Friday is a half day with a 12:30 dismissal. The children may wear their Spirit Shirts and jean bottoms.
The 7th graders will attend Mass in person on Wednesday this week. Please remind your 7th grader to come in Mass uniform.
Save the date! On Wednesday, December 16th the Virtual Christmas Program will be uploaded to our YouTube channel. We are hoping to make this a fun, family event. Put on your jammies and enjoy together! We will send the video out at 5pm. Stay tuned for more information!
We will begin to sell candy grams in front of McCready for $1.00 December 1st through 3rd. These candy grams will be delivered to the students on the 16th.
Student Leadership is also hosting a Diaper Drive from November 30th to December 11th for the Diaper Bank of Arizona. There are specific sizes they are in need of per grade. Please see the flyer in the newsletter.
