Kicking Off Catholic Schools Week

This Sunday kicks off Catholic Schools Week and from now through February 6th you will get the 50% discount off of the $300 enrollment fee. If you re-enroll after Feb. 6th, you will pay $300.00. As part of the registration process you will need to make an account in the online SurePay link at the end of the enrollment process. Our new Spirit Store is now open! You may order spirit wear and sweatshirts any time. The link is below and will always be available on our website. The turnaround time is approximately 2 weeks. The merchandise will be dropped off to the school and we will distribute it to your family.

Our school theme for Catholic Schools Week is “Blessed to be Here”:

Monday: We will begin with a prayer about “Community” 

  • Spirit Dress- “Falcon Day” wear black, red and/or white shirts; uniform bottoms
  • BINGO- This will be livestreamed at 1:30 pm for the whole school to play!

Tuesday: We will begin with a prayer about “Students” 

  • Spirit Dress- “Sports Day!” Wear your favorite sports shirt and or jersey from a team you played for; uniform bottoms
  • Pizza Lunch provided by Home and School.
  • Traditionally this is Field Day. We are hoping to reschedule for later this school year.

Wednesday: We will begin with a prayer about the “Nation”

  • Spirit Dress- “Favorite Hat Day” Wear your favorite, school appropriate hat; uniform bottoms
  • Streaming Mass with the Bishop 8:15- Feast Day of St. Blaise. Included in this newsletter is information that the Office of Worship has put together for all of the families about the Feast Day.

  • No Mass in the afternoon

Thursday: We will begin with a prayer for “Vocations”

  • Spirit Dress- Wild Hair, Wild Sock Day; uniform shirt and uniform bottoms
  • Popsicle treat provided by Home & School 

Friday: Special prayer for the “Faculty, Staff & Volunteers”

  • Spirit Dress- OLMC spirit shirt and jeans
  • St. Vincent de Paul Collection by 8th graders

**Please note on Wednesday we will have Mass celebrated by the Bishop. This begins at 8:15. Please do not be late for the Bishop! The link is above it you wish to attend.**

Tomorrow is the last day we are collecting for St. Vincent de Paul. If possible, please bring in a donation. We are hoping to pack 50 boxes! 

Friday is also a half day, 12:30pm dismissal. 

We also have a Used Uniform Sale coming up on February 12th. This is by sign up only. Used Uniform Sale.

Finally, Charlie Pabst, 8th grader, won the OLMC Spelling Bee and his brother Andrew Pabst, 6th grader, won 1st place in the Radio Rosary Contest. Congratulations to both of them! Check out our Facebook page or Instagram to see the beautiful picture of Mother Mary.
