Dear OLMC Community,

Yesterday we had our last round of Confirmations and First Communion ceremonies. The children were amazing- it is so beautiful to see them celebrate the sacraments with each other. I am so thankful to Mrs. Abbott and Mrs. Hartley for how well they prepared the children- it certainly showed!

Thank you for all of the well wishes, cards, flowers and drinks for Principal Appreciation! Mr. Groseta and I felt very loved! You are too generous!

Thank you to Home & School and the Cardenas Family for making Field Day such a success! I know it took a lot of work to coordinate this in a different manner than in the past but it most certainly was worth it! The smiles on the face of the children were priceless! Thank you also for the pizza lunch. What a great way to end the week!

Teacher Appreciation week is next week. Home and School would like me to share the following signup for the Specials teachers: Teacher Appreciation Specials

This upcoming week is very busy! We have the Preschool Spaghetti Dinner that will be held on Monday evening. Thank you to all of the parents and the junior high students who have volunteered to help serve!

Wednesday is our annual Kindergarten Stars and Stripes performance! This is a closed event for adults only. There was a SignUp Genius sent by the teachers. If you want to enjoy the cuteness, the 1:30 performance and the 7pm performances will both be live-streamed here: Stars and Stripes.

There is no Mass on Wednesday. Friday is our Annual May Crowning Mass for the 8th graders. The 8th grade students chose one boy and one girl who they feel display qualities of Mary and they chose Guy Mugisha and Eva Lopez. This Mass is open only for the 8th grade families and the pews will be labeled with the family name. It will begin promptly at 11:15am and also will be live-streamed here: May Crowning. We will also present cards to Mrs. Watson and Mrs. Bowers for their retirement. If you have not gotten the chance and would like to send a card or note in for Mrs. Watson and/or Mrs. Bowers, please do so by Friday, May 7th.

Friday is also a half day with 12:30 dismissal. The children do need to wear their school uniforms this Friday with the exception of the 8th graders.

Summer Care - if you are interested, please let us know. If you feel you may only need one or two days a week, contact and she will be able to work this out with your family.

Have a great week!
