Dear OLMC Community,

This past Friday the children brought home the Night to Soar Gala packet. This is the Third Annual Event. In the past the Parish Festival has been the largest fundraiser for the school but we have not had this event the past two years and will not have one this Spring. Therefore, this is what we are hosting to help raise funds to assist in keeping the tuition low and hopefully to raise funds to purchase additional shade that we need around campus. We are asking all the families to help by donating to the auction and hopefully attending as this is a great night! You may purchase tickets at Night to Soar OLMC 2021.

Picture Day is this Wednesday! This is a paperless ordering process Southwest Portraits.

On Friday, October 1st the Winter Sports Link will be open and your child in grades 5-8th that wish to play Softball (girls) or Basketball (boys) may register. The link will be on the website. With the exception of the notarized transportation form and the physical, everything, including payment will be done online. If your child is playing a Fall sport the physical and transportation form will NOT be needed again. The cutoff to register for sports is October 19th. There will be no exceptions.

The Student Leadership Team is hosting a St. Francis of Assisi Drive to benefit the AZ Fish & Game and Liberty Wildlife Center. Please see the flyers included in the newsletter for the items they are hoping to have donated.

Thank you to all of the parents who came out for the Home and School meeting this past Friday. I am really excited about the community building events that will be occurring in the near future!

Mark your calendars as Tuesday, October 5th is the Chipotle Fundraiser that the Dads’ Club is hosting from 4 to 8pm. Please get your scrip too! This is an easy way for the Dads’ Club to raise money for the school. Thank you to everyone for your support!

Have a great week!
Dr. Shewbridge
