Dear Parents,

Last week I sent home the sign up for in-person or virtual real-time learning. If you have not responded, here is the link. Please respond today so that teachers can properly prepare.

Additionally, I will send an email tomorrow pertaining to important information as we move towards in-person learning. I cannot stress enough the importance of practicing wearing a mask, good hand hygiene, and teaching the children about physically distancing.

There are several changes with the drop off and pick up procedures so be sure you know how to bring your child and pick up your child safely. Be on time please.

Dear Parents,

What a great first week considering the unusual circumstances of the world! I am really proud of the children and the teachers, all putting forth so much time and effort to make this possible. Great job!

Tomorrow morning I will send home a survey about the reopening on September 8th. I know that you already filled out a form indicating whether you child would be attending school in person or virtually, but as data and conditions have changed for the better, we ask that you fill out the new form so the teachers may prepare to have your student at home or in-person. The form is due by Friday, August 28th.

Dear OLMC Community,

*This past week Mrs. Knox sent information and a video about logging into the student’s email account and getting into Google Classroom. Please test this now so you’re ready for tomorrow! Classes begin at 8:15. Please be patient as this is the first day starting up again. The teachers have done a great deal of training and practicing with the technology so we are going to do our best to make this as smooth as possible for the children. It is not ideal, but we are going to be flexible and we can’t wait to be in-person on September 8th.

Dear OLMC Families,

As we continue to move closer to the online start date of August 17th, there will be quite a bit more communication coming home. Tomorrow I will email links pertaining to the Used Uniform Sales and Orientation with specific instructions.

We are going to be rolling out several videos over the next week that we encourage you to share with your children. We are hoping to get them excited and keep them informed of the changes around the school. We have several social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook and Twitter which we use to share information. Please sign up for our YouTube channel by going to our website and subscribing to the channel.

Looking forward to seeing you during the Orientation/Book Pick up!
